I was shocked when nanny told Janie that she had to marry Logan kilicks, just because she kissed Johnny Taylor!!!! Nanny really went over board. Poor Janie now has to live with an old saggy man. Even though he does have a ton of money for a colored person especially in those days when the white man dominated everything. Janie doesnt really have a say in this decision that her grandma has made for her, her Nanny feels as though she has found a good catch for janie when in reality Janie deserves much more than that old fart.
